Help playing audio/video It's been another non-stop year for the retro-pop four-piece with appearances on the summer festival circuit and tours in America and Mexico. And there was the release of their third album. ![]() Aaron & Greg Gilbert During their visit to Sally Taylor's show, the band played acoustic versions of recently recorded covers These Days by Nico and Bad Moon Rising by Creedence Clearwater Revival - as well as a Delays original, Nearer Than Heaven. Delays got together when they were at Bitterne Park School - the band is made up of brothers Greg and Aaron Gilbert, Colin Fox and Rowly. They've been likened to the The Byrds and The Hollies with their angelic harmonies and melodic guitars. ![]() Colin Fox Despite their success, they haven't lost touch with their Southampton roots - the band recently announced a mini December home town tour of four venues on four consecutive dates which all immediately sold out. Having signed to Rough Trade in 2004, they released their debut album Faded Seaside Glamour the same year.
