As the project ends, some of the people involved '100 Lifers' came to the BBC Radio Solent studios. Help playing audio/video ![]() BBC Radio Solent's 100 Lives project gives us a unique snapshot of life in the 21st century by following the lives of 100 people over the year. ![]() A cross-section of people took part, and to mark the end of the year, many came to the BBC Radio Solent studios for a Christmas party, live on air. The project leaves a legacy too - a special record will be held at the Wessex Film and Sound Archive. ![]() Over the year we've met people fighting illness; leaving to live overseas; starting a new business; undergoing new medical techniques; and a someone on a journey of gender reassignment.
