This short comic noir unfolds as Mike explains how he's come to be burried alive. It's a tale of the underworld, in more ways than one, as cross and double-cross lead to a trip to the countryside that is anything but a picnic.
Topsoil was written, shot, produced and directed by Simon Cooper. It stars Martin Griffin, Becky Pennick and Robert Patton with music by Simon Sinfield.
John Not bad, the narration could have done with more authority.
The female lead was great, a real fitty too - i may even vote for her in next years FHM poll! Not that i buy the magazine...
Mayer Good but a little work on the digging technique by all wouldn't go amiss. Put your back into it!
Chris James Brilliant! It's hard to believe that this is an amateur production. Great humour, performances and production techniques. This is my favourite from the shorts available within the comedy section of The Big Screen. 9/10
