There are no rivers on any of the Islands but there are large areas of luxuriant vegetation.  The Falkland Islands are a British Crown Colony in the South Atlantic 8,000 miles from Britain.  The Faroe Islands are situated in the North Atlantic 430 km south-east of Iceland.  Froya neighbours Hitra and both islands are situated off the coast of Central Norway.
