Jim Cathcart spoke to him the day before the show. Usually reserved for VIP transport the King Air, or to give it its full name Beech Craft King Air B200 Turbo Prop, took part in Guernsey's 2008 Battle of Britain Air Display. Leon Crease, who flew the plane in the display, along with co-pilot Duncan Wright, described it as "rugged and reliable, as well as economical" and this was one of the reasons that it was used for multi-engine pilot training. Leon said the plane was "nice to fly" and is very agile for the sort of plane it is, though due to regulations he is not allowed to do aerobatic manoeuvres. He likened flying it in the show to being the equivalent of throwing a Bentley around a race track.
