Teaspoonriverneck's 'crafted' new record

Grunge metal three piece Teaspoonriverneck let BBC Guernsey's Tom Girard into one of their rehersal's to get a special preview of their new mini-album and talk about the past, and future of the band.

Teaspoonriverneck started out several years ago as a project formed by three people with a love for a style of music un-catered to in Guernsey.

Original comprised of Darren Carre, Steven Lynch and John Langlois the band started out with an aim to simply provide the island with something a bit different. As the band developed, and drummer Darren was away from Guernsey, Brett Stewart joined the fold and things really took off...

Following the release of their self titled debut album in April 2007 the band soon had a set of completely new material which they headed into the studio with Danny Joyce to record later that year.

Describing the new mini-album, 'Craft of Lisia', as "heavier" than their past effort but also featuring a 'ballad' as well, though remaining in the bands own inimitable style, Teaspoonriverneck continue to grow and with several changes happening to the band in 2008 they continue to evolve...
