Teaspoonriverneck's 'crafted' new recordGrunge metal three piece Teaspoonriverneck let BBC Guernsey's Tom Girard into one of their rehersal's to get a special preview of their new mini-album and talk about the past, and future of the band. ![]() Steven 'Erneck' Lynch. Teaspoonriverneck started out several years ago as a project formed by three people with a love for a style of music un-catered to in Guernsey. Original comprised of Darren Carre, Steven Lynch and John Langlois the band started out with an aim to simply provide the island with something a bit different. As the band developed, and drummer Darren was away from Guernsey, Brett Stewart joined the fold and things really took off... Help playing audio/video ![]() John 'Teaspo' Langlois. Following the release of their self titled debut album in April 2007 the band soon had a set of completely new material which they headed into the studio with Danny Joyce to record later that year. Describing the new mini-album, 'Craft of Lisia', as "heavier" than their past effort but also featuring a 'ballad' as well, though remaining in the bands own inimitable style, Teaspoonriverneck continue to grow and with several changes happening to the band in 2008 they continue to evolve...
