Matt Le Tissier: Guitar and backing vocals Andre Marsh: Drums Band HistoryThe Band was started by Matt and Raddy from being in previous bands together, we had Andre on drums to begin with and Harry Parkin on bass. Things didn't work out with Andre as he was at university most of the time so they all found it difficult. They tried to find a new drummer, eventually finding Ollie from The Escape Fall. They played a few gigs, but Harry left the band as he had decided to go to university. ![]() James 'Raddy' Radford. This was a blow to the band, but fortunately they found the very gifted Charlie Holmes to replace Harry on bass, they are going strong as a band now and feel as if they have found the ideal line up. Upon his return to the island Andre returned as drummer as Ollie was concentrating on his work with The Escape Fall. Among their influences they list The Offspring, My Chemical Romance, Sugarcult, New Found Glory, Hit the lights, Sum 41 and Blink 182. The FutureMatt says: "We intend to play more gigs, maybe attempting to play in the likes of Jersey. We have not really discussed it as a band, we just enjoy playing and taking one gig at a time." Their Favourite GigMatt says: "Our favourite gig was with Third Time Lucky and What's Up With Dave? The atmosphere was awesome, and everyone seemed to be having fun... that's what gigs are all about." last updated: 14/10/2008 at 11:17 SEE ALSOYou are in: Guernsey > Unsigned Bands > Bands > It Still Stands |
