The BladesThe aerobatic display team made their first visit to the islands in 2007. This aerobatic display team which entertained the Queen on her 80th birthday, kicked off the Beckhams' pre-World Cup party and were part of Bahrain's first airshow in May 2007. Known as The Blades, the team is made up of four ex-Red Arrows pilots Andy Offer, Dave Slow, Andy Evans and Myles Garland. The display includes loops, rolls, opposition passes and breathtaking tumbles - all while travelling only a few feet apart at speeds of up to 220 knots.
