Currently she works as a restaurant and function musician, but writing and performing her own music is where she feels she really shines. The FutureLydia Said: "Primarily I'm working on getting more recordings of my songs and doing sufficiently more gigs in Guernsey and in the UK. "I'm looking to record a demo and an EP by the end of the year - and eventually getting signed wouldn't be too bad either. "As well as my solo songwriting I play cello for Liverpool based band 'Indigo Adara' and a few other "band" projects with friends from LIPA. I'm also about to start a duet project with Karl from Southampton based band 'Toupe' "If I can make money from my passion I'll be a very, very happy person." Her Favourite Gig"So far my favourite gig was playing in the View Two Art Gallery in Liverpool! "I've played in only a few places, and most of them obscure and random! But if it feels right to play there then you just have to go with it." Help playing audio/video last updated: 14/10/2008 at 11:11 You are in: Guernsey > Unsigned Bands > Bands > Lydia Jane |
