Guernsey Athletes ArriveFollowing a long trip from Guernsey to Rhodes the Sarnian Island Games team have arrived in Rhodes ready for the competition. At four o'clock in the morning, Rhodes time, the Guernsey Island Games team finally touched down on the Greek island after a 14 hour trip that took them from Guernsey to France by boat then on to Rhodes by air. Following the long trip they seemed remarkably eager to get going and said that it didn't matter if the venues weren't finished they were ready to compete. Jack Mabire met them at the airport as they stepped onto the tarmac...
