The organisers of this year’s Island Games are concerned that they are fighting a battle against the clock to prepare all the venues for the event. The 12th Island Games will be held on the Greek island of Rhodes between Saturday 30th June and Friday 6th July, but in the latest update from officials several sites are proving to be a worry for them. ![]() Kalipatira Athletics venue 10 months ago One of those in the race against time is the Kalipatira Sports Complex which is described as 'the Heart of the Games' and will host Athletics and Beach Volleyball. Once it is finished organisers believe it will be 'a jewel' for the island. The Clay Target range and the Petaloudon Indoor Hall are also causing concern for the committee as they are "progressing slowly".
