Who Are They?

The band has had various incarnations over time but after losing various non-essential members due to changes of direction, musical differences and death, have returned to the original four horsemen of the rockapocalypse and a new bass player who are:

Paul "Bomber" Austin on Bass.

Stacey "Stace" Blondel: Vocals

Steve "Scorch" Baker aka switchgear johnstone aka bake aka cheesecake steve: Lead Guitar

Stuart "Ozzy" Austin: Drums/French Horn and Glochansphiel

Paul "Bomber" Austin: Rhythm Guitar

Daz Carre: Bass

Band History

Scorch had arrived on the island for the first time after being banished from west Bromich/Oldberry (where Frank Skinner lives) the rock capital of the midlands and was impressed with Bomber's and Stacey's Proclaimers tribute so asked if he could join.

Oz followed a week later after meeting scorch in the geranium section of a garden center. They noticed they not only shared a love for horticulture but also a love for the music of Ozzy Osbourne.

After a successful tour of the UK, including the legendary performance at the M5 Little Chef, the quartet returned and finished the Proclaimers tribute and started the Crazy Babies.

One year later they became the Iron Babies and featured Marc Austin taking over duties on the four string while Bomber battled his demons in rehab. Once clean Bomber returned to the band taking the rhythm.

Sadly on November 7th Marc's agent put out a press release stating he had the left the group after purchasing P. Diddy's latest album, Marc is currently living in California trying to find his musical roots.

The Future

The babies are currently touring the islands with a tribute of Ozzy Osbourne followed by Iron Maiden followed by Ozzy Osbourne. Their grueling schedule includes gigs at the Golden Lion, Vale Castle, Hockey Club and a Bahmitzva.
