Band History

John and Louis agreed to embark on a musical adventure in April 2004. The aim was to have fun playing music they enjoyed.

Eventually Guy was brought in on drums, bringing a progressive metal flavour to an already eclectic array of influences.

Jack

Jack

Some time later Jack Crisp of Beaver was ensnared by his love of the band Sublime. The band had about five rehearsals before the first gig, and has achieved the unfortunate balance of having fewer practices than gigs.

The Future

In 2005 The Bake was "ripped apart by further education" when Louis and Jack left for University.

However, they continue to gig whenever the opportunity arises and intend to continue writing original material.
