In Badminton Guernsey's Elena Johnson and Lisa Hayward are through to the semi finals of the ladies doubles where they'll meet Skov and Hoegh Muller of Greenland. Johnson is also through to the singles final where she'll meet Jersey's Maria Agathangelou. Johnson is still in with a shout of three medals to add to the team bronze - she's still in the mixed doubles with Kevin Le Moigne. Le Moigne and Darren Le Tissier meet Bagger and Madsen of Greenland in the Semis of the Men's Doubles. Bad news for Lisa Hayward and Darren Le Tissier though who have lost their Badminton Mixed Doubles Quarter Final to the Jersey pairing of Kerry Coombs-Goodfellow and Anton Kriel. Plus disappointment in the Men's Singles - Darren Le Tissier losing in the Quarter Finals and Ben Martin losing in the Semis. BowlsGuernsey's Paul Ingrouille has topped his group in the Men's Indoor Bowls after winning three out of three matches. He now progresses to the Play Offs to fight for a medal. So a fantastic result from a very wet course in Brae. FootballIn the Men's Football Guernsey have beaten Ynys Môn 3 nil. John Veron scored the first two and Sam Cochrane headed the third into the back of the net. The Team had already secured their place in the final but were obviously not resting on their laurels. In the match to decide who Guernsey faces in the final, it was Shetland 1 - Isle of Man 0 so there will be a huge crowd estimated to be around four thousand. Guernsey's Women have beaten the Isle of Man 2-1, their first victory of the Games. The ladies were feeling better for their rest day. The team has grown in stature during the Games following two heavy losses having drawn and won in their last two games. GolfAfter three rounds with one round to go Bobby Eggo has dropped from first to fourth so will have to work hard, but he did set a course record on Tuesday so gold is still within his grasp. Meanwhile Danny Bisson is still sitting in third place. Whilst in the ladies event, they'll be aiming for a good round, although it's highly unlikely Alderney or Guernsey will achieve medals there.
