The mansion, is said to be home to a headless horse and a floating coffin. A live satellite TV broadcast from the mansion during the night of the summer solstice in 2003 saw mediums contacting two spirits. The TV team found several murders had been committed at Woodchester including a servant girl who was strangled and a builder around 1840.
