Kingsholm is where the heart is

He learnt his trade at arch rivals Bath, but Mike Tindall now feels that Kingsholm is home and this is where he wants to play for the rest of his career.

The England centre's in a race against time to be fit for the World Cup in the Autumn after breaking his leg back in April.

Speaking on the BBC Radio Gloucestershire breakfast show, Tindall said:

"It's going to be close. I'm hoping to start running in a month or so and you're looking at mid-August so I'm hoping to get in one of the warm-up games.

"With bone it's a very hard thing to predict. You've just got to see how it heals.

"You get progress reports every three or four weeks and from those we'll know in the next six weeks whether I'm going to make it or not. Fingers crossed."

Listen

We had the chance to talk with Mike Tindall about matters both on and off the field, hearing about life in Gloucestershire, his happiness at Kingsholm and even how he relaxes when not playing.
