He is a self proclaimed "confused hippy", and he's extremely funny!  John remembers going to see Bill Bailey ages ago at the Derby Assembly Rooms and coming out and having a really "hurty" face because he'd been laughing so much. Ever since, he's been a huge fan and felt that Bill had become some kind of idol! John spoke to Bill on the show about humour of the highest quality.
