La Roux
Doin' it for the thrill
Elly Jackson and Ben Langmaid otherwise known as electro duo La Roux, prompted a mass singalong to Bulletproof when they hit the Dance Stage at Glastonbury last year, the audience donning glitter makeup for the occasion. Part of the new wave revival, La Roux's synth pop and Jackson's recognisable falsetto made a hysteric impression on the music scene in 2009, their second single In For The Kill and dubstep producer Skream's remix emerging as a festival anthem. Now working on new material for their follow up record La Roux return to play the Other stage. Will Elly be sporting the signature quiff she's rumoured to be tiring of? Stay tuned.
