Young South London trio The xx topped 'best of' lists worldwide in 2009 with their self-titled debut album which the band drummed up in the garage of XL studios. Describing it as 'imperfectly perfect', their intimate and minimal approach yielded the instantly addictive single Crystalised. Set to play major indie festivals in the US this year including Bonnaroo at the beginning of June, The xx will be primed for their icy cool appearance at Glastonbury on the John Peel stage.
