Caryopteris is a fetching shrub in autumn when it is covered with eye-catching blue flowers . It forms a mound and has slightly toothed, grey-green leaves that are silver and hairy on the undersides. To ensure you get a good show of flowers on the current season's growth, prune it in spring down to a low framework .
