A delightful native perennial woodland plant, Anemone nemerosa will quickly spread and carpet the ground. It produces masses of star shaped, single white flowers that are flushed with pink in spring and early summer, above deeply cut, mid-green leaves. Use this species as a ground cover under trees, shrubs or roses or use in a cottage garden border. Plants may be propagated from seed or by separating the rhizomes once foliage has died back.
