A succulent, mat-forming perennial with stunning red leaves. This plant creeps gently, the rosettes spring abundantly from the parent plant and can be propagated easily. It needs sandy, gritty soil and dislikes winter wet. Can be very effective planted with other alpines in a shallow pan or trough.
