An unusual evergreen perennial with large, glossy palmate leaves that grow in a rosette. The flowers are grouped into a large inflorescence above the leaves. They are pale pink with a dark pink centre and there are masses of them. A must for the Mediterranean or tropical themed border, the foliage alone creates a lush feel and the flowers are unlike anything else in the garden. Well worth a little winter protection and very easy from seed.
