This ground-covering bellflower produces its pale purplish-blue flowers in clusters on top of short stems. It has a tendency to spread quickly in a border so plant it where it has plenty of room. Plants usually flower in early summer but if the flower stems are cut back promptly as they fade, clumps will often give a second flush of blooms. Plants look good when associated with gold-leaved perennials and white flowers.
