Design inspiration "It is not uncommon to come across couples who differ in their opinion about what they want in their gardens and we wanted to create a garden where neither person really had to compromise.
"This garden has been designed for a newly married couple. She likes herbaceous perennials and he likes big leaves and structural plants. She wants to be able to titivate and potter and he wants low maintenance. But, of course, they both want to be able to sit in it and enjoy each other's company. "The garden was split diagonally in two and each side separately designed with its own distinctive style, however, close collaboration on the planting helps to soften the contrast." | | Designers, Lorna Thomas and Davinia Wild |
