Design inspiration "It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a roof garden must be in want of a double hammock enticingly decked out as a leafy bower floating on a sea of wild flowers. This, at all events, is what I maintain and when eyebrows are raised – “Him 77 years old! What is he thinking of?” I say “I’m working from memory."
"The garden that emerges is called Patio Povera! The name comes from the Arte Povera movement started by a group of anarchical artists half a century ago. They reckoned that any old thing can be a work of art and I have set out to show that “pretty well any old thing can be a container for plants”." | | Designer, Tony Samuelson |
