Design inspiration "My inspiration was the song 'Lust for Life' by Iggy Pop. The burst of energy from the drum introduction makes it impossible to ignore - you can't help but get up and act. This captured for me what The Children Society's work is aiming at; harnessing and directing the energy and promise of childhood.
"My second point of inspiration was Roald Dahl's 'BFG' where the Big Friendly Giant blows dreams into people's bedrooms at night. The image of these bubbles rising up into the ether became three white bubbles emerging from the plant bed, the final one bursting out of its borders revealing a young flowering tree." | | Designer, Angus Thompson |
