Take one very British novel, add a supersized portion of baseball, then throw in a Hollywood actress-turned-producer, an ex-Saturday Night Live comic and the Farrelly brothers, and what do you get? Well, that'd be The Perfect Catch, a baseball-flavoured version of Nick Hornby's Fever Pitch that will still ring bells with the most fanatical of footie supporters. Drew Barrymore and her co-star Jimmy Fallon step up to the plate to tell us why their adaptation of Hornby's story about an obsessive sports fan and his long-suffering girlfriend will appeal both to the boys and the girls.
