Sydney-born John Polson has gone from jobbing Australian actor to Hollywood director in the space of a couple of years. Best known on screen for his turn as Billy Baird in M:I2, he made his directorial debut with Siam Sunset in 1999. Three years later he made his first American movie, Swimf@n, and is now calling the shots on Hide And Seek, starring Robert De Niro and Dakota Fanning.
