    Right we are off home.

If we see Sir Macca on the way, we'll be sure to give him a wide berth if he's in storytelling mode (scroll down to find out why).

If you're hanging around in the world wide web then have a look back through some of our stories today, including the return of Wolf Alice and The Horrors, the end for Gorillaz (possibly but probably not really...) and Pet Sounds (definitely).

Plus after Katy P's olive branch to Tay Tay we look back at some great musical feuds down the years, while Ice Cube is officially a star. Quite literally.

    Goodbyeeeeeeeeee.

They were breaking out of an asylum last we saw of them in the video for You're In Love With A Psycho.

Now Serge, Tom and the boys are breaking out again in the video for new single Bless This Acid House... this time in jailhouse clothes.

But don't be fooled folks - this ain't no jailhouse.

We won't spoil the end but it seems to be a satirical comment on modern housing. Or perhaps we're reading too much into it.

    Banging tune anyway.

  19. Wolf Alice claim Annie Mac's first hottest record backpublished at 09:32 BST 13 June 2017

    BBC Radio 1

DJ Annie Mac returned to Radio 1 last night after having had a wee bairn and she was back with the biggest of bangs.

London grunge rockers Wolf Alice were in the studio to witness the radio debut of their new single; the brilliantly named Yuk Foo (careful now).

Listening instructions: To be played loud.

Annie described the track as "unfettered" and "ferocious".

Singer Ellie Rowsell called it an "anthem of frustration", which is ironic given the headaches the title will be causing DJs up and down the country.

This one apparently goes out to anyone around the world who has had a bad day. So hopefully not you...or you.

Maybe play it again this afternoon if you need to.

The track will feature on their forthcoming album Visions of a Life which is out in September and you can catch the guys on tour in the UK and Ireland from November.
