  6. Woodstock 50th anniversary festival will move locationpublished at 14:22 GMT 2 January 2019

    SantanaImage source, Getty Images

This August marks 50 years since the seminal hippy New York State music festival.

More than 400,000 people showed up for the event and saw sets by the likes of The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Melanie, Santana (pictured above) and Joe Cocker.

To celebrate, a 50th anniversary show is being staged but the location has been changed from its original venue in the Catskill Mountains.

They must be expecting some size of crowd because organisers have said the 600-acre dairy farm "doesn't have the capacity".

No acts have yet been announced.

    Thank God for that.

We wouldn't know what to do with ourselves if LG suddenly went straight edge.

The singer, who is due to release the follow-up to his #1 debut solo album later this year, has apparently been telling US radio station Sirius XM that, while he has cut down on the fags and booze a bit, he won't be turning into an angel in 2019.

“I know for a fact when I have not had cigarettes and not drank and have been behaving myself I sound a bit square,” he said.

“And I do not like that. I like to sound a bit rough and have a bit of character.”

He added: “I do behave myself a little, but not too much. I don’t want to sound like Aled Jones or Michael Buble."

"Was there ever a better match between performer and venue than Lady Gaga and Las Vegas?"

That was the question begged by BBC Music reporter Mark Savage as the star took up residency in Sin City.

She's been busy lately promoting her Oscar-nominated movie, A Star is Born, but Gaga's Enigma show at the Park MGM didn't disappoint when it opened this weekend, as she flew onto the stage, trussed up in a harness while playing Just Dance on a keytar; and later performed from the top of a giant spider-robot.

The show is themed around Gaga's quest to discover her true self, aided by an animated spirit guide.

    Bros

So the heart-rending tale of the 2018 Bros reunion made many of us laugh, cry and cringe over Christmas.

Did you catch it? If not you can now over on the iPlayer.

After The Screaming Stops tells the story of 80s heart-throb siblings Matt and Luke Goss getting back together to perform for the first time in nearly 30 years, at London's O2 Arena last year, but like with many families at Christmas it doesn't always run as smoothly as some might like.

It also contains many moments of accidental absolute comedy gold, leading some to suggest that it may in fact be a Spinal Tap/The Office-style mocu-mentary.

The 25-year-old singer - who had a very public split with fiance Pete Davidson in October, shortly after the death of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller - professed on Twitter that she's focusing on herself for the foreseeable.
