The US rapper has made the economically wise move into the Latino market by appearing on Puerto Rico singer Ozuna's track La Modelo.

If the track does half as well as the last big hit by a singer from the Caribbean island then it will do alright.

    Despacito, anyone? No?

Cardi also appears in G-Eazy's No Limit remix video and you can watch a snippet below.

Cardi's real life boyfriend Offset and Migos have released a new track too called Stir Fry.

You'll have to find that one for yourselves though as there's some rather offensive language in it.

The track has been produced by Pharrell Williams, fresh from releasing his own new album with his band N*E*R*D.

  5. Hip hop fans lose legal battle to shed 'gang' labelpublished at 13:27 GMT 20 December 2017

Fans of the US hip hop act Insane Clown Posse have failed in a legal challenge to an FBI report that listed them as a gang.

The fans, known by the term Juggalos, paint their faces and wear clothes in a similar manner to the Detroit-based duo.

The Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled on Monday that the FBI's decision to list the Juggalos as a gang was not legally binding and could not be challenged in court.

The report referred to them as "a loosely-organized hybrid gang" that engages in "disorganized" crimes such as, "simple assault, personal drug use and possession, petty theft and vandalism."

In September, the band led around 1,500 of their fans on a peaceful demonstration to protest against the FBI's gang designation.

Members of the Juggalos say the label 'gang member' has cost them jobs, accommodation and even access to social services.

  6. Donald Fagen doesn't want Steely Dan to continuepublished at 12:55 GMT 20 December 2017

    Rolling Stone magazine

    Donald FagenImage source, Getty Images

The singer is currently embroiled in a legal dispute with his late friend and bandmate Walter Becker's family over the band's name and legacy.

Now, he's told Rolling Stone that, ideally, he would like to retire the band's name.

"I would actually prefer to call it Donald Fagen and the Steely Dan Band or something like that.

"To me, Steely Dan was just me and Walter, really - it was like a concept we had together."

    Becker died in September.

On the ongoing legal battle, Fagen added: "Walter and I had a contract, and it was really a simple thing that a lot of bands have 0 if someone resigns or is fired or dies, they sell their rock & roll stock back to the company... and the idea was that if somebody dies the other guy would essentially run the band."

  9. Noel v Liam: War of the wordspublished at 11:43 GMT 20 December 2017

    Paul Glynn
    Music News LIVE reporter

Noel and Liam GallagherImage source, Getty Images

Even at the height of Oasis's success in the mid 90s, the Gallagher brothers - being brothers - were still always at one another's throats.

In fact, that tension or friction between the sparring siblings was part of what made Oasis so massively appealing as a rock 'n' roll band.

Now that the war is potentially over this Christmas (scroll down for why) let's have a quick look back at some of the major flash points.

Safe in the knowledge that they still need each other...and believe in one another, external.

Noel and Liam GallagherImage source, PA
    • In 1994 Liam reportedly hit his brother over the head with a tambourine during a gig in LA, after the guitarist got angry with him for changing the words to their track Live Forever.

    • Noel's revenge came in 1995 when, according to reports, he hit his little bro with a cricket bat after the singer brought a gang of revellers back to the studio while they were recording (What's the Story) Morning Glory?

    • A famous recording of an interview with The NME's John Harris from the same year descended into such explosive chaos that it was subsequently released as a single entitled Wibbling Rivalry.

*You can find that for yourselves online but be warned it's pretty much all swearing.

If you’re proud about getting thrown off ferries, then why don’t you go and support West Ham and get the [bleep] out of my band and go and be a football hooligan, right?

    Noel to Liam, 1994, NME

    • Oasis came to an abrupt end in 2009 just minutes before the band were due to headline a Paris festival after Liam threw a plum at his brother backstage and then "nearly took my face off" [said Noel] by violently swinging a guitar in his direction.

    • After having referred to Noel's new solo outfit as 'The High Flying Turds', Liam filed a legal action against his brother after Noel claimed Oasis pulled out of performing at the 2009 V Festival due to the singer having a hangover.

In a statement, Liam said: “I am used to being called all sort of things by Noel and I have in the past said things about him, but what Noel has alleged this time went way beyond rock-and-roll banter and questioned my professionalism.”

He added: “This is not about money, all I want is a full apology from Noel.”

    • The legal action was later dropped.
    Liam GallagherImage source, Getty Images
    • In 2017 - following a relatively unsuccessful stint with new band Beady Eye and a lengthy break from music - Liam returned with his own debut solo record As You Were, which went straight to number one. Prior to the release he was critical of his brother for not performing at the One Love Manchester concert in the wake of the bomb attack and later called Noel's apparent tears on stage at the subsequent We Are Manchester gig a "PR stunt".

    • Liam then also slated Noel's psychedelic third solo album Who Built The Moon?, which arrived just a month after his own record, regularly referred to his older bro as a 'potato' and confirmed to Graham Norton that the pair still "did not like each other."

  11. Gorillaz to release a new album 'next year'published at 11:03 GMT 20 December 2017

There were six years between the last two Gorillaz albums but it seems fans will only have to wait a matter of months to hear new material form the half human/half animated band.

Artist Jamie Hewlett, who along with Damon Albarn co-founded the band, has said in a new interview that a new album - which follows on from this year's chart-topping Humanz - will be out in 2018.

“We’re going straight into the album with no break. Usually we have a good five-year break between each album but we decided; ‘You know what? Let’s keep going’ because there’s ideas for a few more albums so we’re going to go straight into that.

"That will be all of next year and probably the year beyond that.”

Gorillaz also shared a 'thank you' video to their fans, external on YouTube saying 'stay tuned for more in 2018'.

  14. Have Noel and Liam Gallagher reached a Christmas truce?published at 09:21 GMT 20 December 2017

Noel and LIam GallagherImage source, PA

The estranged brothers have earned a glass of cherry this Christmas after having both delivered number one solo albums this year.

But it looks like for the first time since Oasis's acrimonious and pretty violent split back in 2009 that that drink could actually be together.

Last night Liam tweeted a "Happy Xmas to team NG" and pointed to a festive rendez-vous with his bro today.

This Christmas miracle seemed too good to be true for some Oasis fans online, who wrote back to Liam seeking further clarification.

The younger Gallagher wrote back and seemed to confirm that the eight and a half year war (which won't have done their recent record sales any harm) could be about to come to an end.

He also suggested that it was Noel that made the first move.

It's heart-warming news with which to kick off today's crimbo week live page.

But like a lot of you, we'll believe it when we see it with our own eyes.

Christmas is a time for forgiveness and there's a lot of brotherly love coming up in today's Music News LIVE from two rather famous squabbling siblings.

    No prizes for guessing who.
