The singer headlined the Capital One Arena in Washington D.C on Friday night.

He had previously cancelled shows due to bruised vocal cords.

In December, he updated fans saying he was on the mend and had been told by his docs to hold off on singing until January.

Normal service has now been resumed it seems.

The UK rapper has become larger than life and London in the cinematic trailer for his new album.

In fact, the 35-year-old accidentally makes a right 'menace' of himself and a mess of his hometown in his gigantic size (roughly) 509s.

Giggs - whose real name is Nathaniel Thompson - dropped his last album, Landlord, back 2016, before surprising crowds at Reading Festival by inviting his rapping pal Drake to join him on stage the following summer.

He went on to feature on Lily Allen's Mercury Prize-nominated album, last year.

The new album, Big Bad, is out on 22 February.

A Star is Born missed out on most of the awards for which it was nominated at the Golden Globes on Sunday night, save for best original song.

Lady Gaga, who also missed out on her widely-tipped best actress gong, in favour of The Wife's Glenn Close, showed there was no bad blood however, calling her fellow actress "a true legend".

Her co-songwriter Mark Ronson also tweeted his own excitement, with this picture of himself and Gaga, alongside co-writers Anthony Rossomando (who fans of The Libertines and Dirty Pretty Things may recognise) and Andrew Wyatt.

Jade Bird made the longlist for the BBC Sound of 2018 (scroll down to find out who is number 5 on this year's poll) and now she's announced that 2019 is the year that she'll release her self-titled debut LP.

It's coming out on 19 April.

Quite a lot of Bowie actually.

A new national commercial radio station, Greatest Hits Radio, has been launched across the UK with a celebration of Brixton Dave's music.

The star, whose birthday is tomorrow, died of cancer three years ago this week and his life and work will be commemorated all throughout the station's first week, which will include two documentaries.

The new station is aimed at 40 to 59-year-olds and the lineup features former Radio 1 DJ Mark Goodier, Andy Crane and Darren Proctor.

Goodier said: "Kicking off with Bowie Week, I can't wait to share my passion for some of the greatest artists of our time with listeners."

Bowie's Let's Dance was the first track played on the new channel this morning and you can do just that by pressing play above.

The Floridian rapper apologised on Chistmas eve over the row about a leaked snippet of his latest track, Butterfly Doors, in which he made racist gestures

In the song's lyrics, Pump says: They call me [Chinese basketball player] Yao Ming because my eyes real low, before adding the phrase ching chong.

In the video posted to his 17.4 million Instagram followers, Pump pulled back his eyes as he mimed to the lyrics.

"It was not my intentions to hurt nobody or do none of that," he said in his festive apology.

Now in the official music video for the single, the volume merely dips during the reference to the player and the “ching chong” ad-lib is missing.

Maximum effort there Pump...

... Is a question that very few people ask themselves nowadays.

Yet, cartoon TV network Boomerang has handily answered it by utilising Axl (and, according to the channel, his first new song in ten years) in a new episode.

The Guns 'N Roses frontman joins Bugs and the gang as they try and intercept a meteor using the power of rock.

Sadly, Bugs does not don a top hat but wins top points for his enthusiastic shredding.

The Canadian rock 'n' roller has paid tribute to his ex wife, Pegi, who died last week, aged 66, of cancer.

Neil performed alongside Pegi and later, inspired by son Ben, the pair co-founded The Bridge School in California, for children with severe speech and physical impairments.

They were married from 1978–2014 and had two children together.

In a post on his Archives site, external, he wrote: “Thanks Pegi, for being such a wonderful mother to our children,

“You live inside of them and the many you have touched.”

He later reposted the lyrics to his Pegi-inspired track, Such a Woman, from 1992 album, Harvest Moon.

It contains the lyrics:

You are such a woman to me / And I love you / Our love will live / Until the end of time

No one else can kill me like you do / No one else can fill me like you do / And no, no one else can feel our pain / Love is a healer / And I love you

Eric Haydock, the original bass player from The Hollies, has died aged 75.

Haydock, from Stockport, played on the Manchester band's 1965 UK number one hit I'm Alive and Just One Look.

He recorded and performed with the band until 1966.

The news was broken online by his friend Steve Talbot, who said that he "passed peacefully."

On the band's official Facebook page, external, drummer Bobby Elliott, added a glowing tribute.

"In the early 1960's Eric was one of the finest bass players on the planet," he wrote.

"Along with Tony, Eric and I were the rhythm section that created the springboard for Clarke Hicks and Nash to launch that famous three-way Hollies harmony.

A rather creepy - to say the least - video of Drake kissing and appearing to grope a 17-year-old girl on stage at one of his concerts in 2010 has emerged online.

The video, taken in Denver - according to TMZ - shows the singer, then 23, sniffing his young fan's hair, kissing her neck and wrapping his arms around her chest.

“I get in trouble for [stuff] like this,” he declares, asking; “How old are you?”

The girl responds by saying "17", to which Drake replies; “I can’t go to jail yet, man!”

The legal age of consent in the US in 16 to 18, depending on location, and 16 in the UK and Drizzy's native Canada.

"I don’t know whether I should feel guilty or not, but I had fun," he said, adding "I like the way your breasts feel against my chest."

Some fans found it all too much, with one reading: “I am disgusted," and there have been plenty of calls to "cancel Drake."

He's yet to comment on the video.

The rap mogul has taken to social media to thank his family after revealing his "deep depression" following the death of his former partner and mother to his three children, Kim Porter.

She died in November aged 47.

Sharing a picture of his own mother and his children on Instagram (below), he described himself as "the luckiest man in the world," adding, "the way my family has been strong has humbled me. They have led me.

"They brought me out of a state of deep depression. Their strength and love brought me back into the light."

The news was announced by Emily Eavis on Lauren Laverne's new 6 Music Breakfast Show earlier.

Janelle's Dirty Computer album made it on to most critics' lists of the best albums of 2018 and it has been nominated for a Grammy award, which are handed out later this month.

She last played at Pilton Farm in 2015 and Emily described her show as "incredible".

"You could have watched it with the sound off," she told Lauren, "and it really would have been incredible. It will be quite a moment.”

Chance the Rapper has expressed regret at having collaborated with his fellow Chicagoan musician, in the final episode of the damning Lifetime docuseries, Surviving R Kelly.

The series accuses R Kelly of abusing women; accusations which he has continuously denied.

The pair combined on the 2015 track, Somewhere in Paraside and Chance also made a cameo in Kelly’s Backyard Party video. During his 2014 Lollapalooza set, the rapper also brought Kelly out on stage as a special hometown guest.

Now Chance, who was shown speaking to Cassius‘ Jamilah Lemieuxm in an interview from May, said he now regrets the association.

“Making a song with R. Kelly was a mistake," he said.

“At the time, it wasn’t even present in my mind that people could feel any type of way about his presence on a track of mine.

"I think for a long time I was only able to understand R. Kelly’s situation and presence in the world when it comes down to his trial and his accusations and his accusers as a victim.

He added: “We’re programmed to really be hypersensitive to black male oppression.

“But black women are exponentially a higher oppressed and violated group of people just in comparison to the whole world.

"Maybe I didn’t care because I didn’t value the accusers’ stories because they were black women."

On Sunday, Chance tweeted about the interview, saying his quotes were taken out of context but again apologised for working with Kelly.

Flamenco music has never troubled the UK charts - but that looks set to change with the arrival of Rosalía, who has kick-started this year's BBC Sound of poll.

The 25-year-old Spaniard is turning flamenco on its head by tethering its vocals and hand clapping to the sounds and attitude of hip-hop.

She's already a star in his her native country but her second album, El Mal Querer, has brought the singer to a global audience.

The album earned her five nominations at the Latin Grammys, where the ominous, bass-busting single Malamente (above) won best alternative song and best urban track.

"I'm really happy," she told our music reporter Mark Savage.

"I've discovered a lot of music by listening to the BBC - but it was a big surprise that I could have a space on this list, you know?"

Number four on the Sound of 2019 list will be revealed tomorrow, with the winner announced on Friday.

Lady Gaga's Shallow, from her hit movie, A Star is Born, took home best original song at last night's Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills, California.

The track, which she sang with Bradley Cooper and had been nominated for five awards, was co-written by Mark Ronson, Andrew Wyatt, and Anthony Rossomando (above) and Gaga thanked all three during her acceptance speech.

“I just have to say, as a woman in music it is really hard to be taken seriously as a musician and as a songwriter," she said, "and these three incredible men... standing with me, they lifted me up, they supported me."

Elsewhere on the night Queen movie Bohemian Rhapsody was the surprise winner of two major prizes.

The Freddie Mercury biopic took home the trophies for best film drama and best drama actor for its star, Rami Malek, who played the late frontman.

In his acceptance speech on Sunday, Malek paid tribute to the band and said he was "beyond moved" to have won.

"To you, Brian May, to you, Roger Taylor, for ensuring that authenticity remains in the world," he said.

He dedicated the award to Mercury, who died in 1991, adding: "This is for and because of you, gorgeous!"

Notably he did not thank the film's original director Bryan Singer, who was fired due to "unreliable behaviour" amid reports that he had clashed with Malek on set.

British director Dexter Fletcher was brought in to complete the project.

Best score was won by Justin Hurwitz for his dramatic soundtrack (below) to director Damien Chazelle's moon landing drama, First Man.

The pair's last collaboration, on 2016's La La Land, also won Hurwitz two Golden Globes, two Oscars, and a Bafta.
