Probably not the first question you want to ask on a first Tinder date but that's what is being offered by a firm in north Yorkshire.

"It makes the perfect family record, which can be passed down the generations," says Jason Leach, 46, the founder of And Vinyly, which produces the disc.

John Hobson, a 69-year-old sculptor, says his mother Madge, a devout churchgoer, would thoroughly approve of her record.

"I had to weigh out a quantity of the ashes [which had been kept in an urn], and put a large teaspoonful into a number of small plastic bags, one for each disc," he says.

Fifteen records were pressed for family and friends.

  15. Kanye is being countersued by his insurerspublished at 10:10 BST 31 August 2017

Kanye's dispute with Lloyd's of London over his cancelled 2016 US tour has taken another turn as the insurance firm is counter-suing Kanye West, after he filed legal papers against them earlier this month.

He cut the tour shot and spent time in hospital in the States, suffering from exhaustion.

Kanye's lawyers had said insurers were refusing to pay out, saying they were claiming his marijuana habit was the cause of the cancellation and filed a legal action for $10m (£7.7m).

Now, Lloyd's says there are "substantial irregularities" in the his medical history, and said it does not owe him a penny.

An independent medical examiner confirmed Kanye was unable to continue with the tour, but Lloyd's want "further relief" and have demanded a trial by jury.

BBC music reporter Mark Savage said: "U2 have been busy touring their 1987 classic The Joshua Tree this summer, and some of that album’s magic seems to have rubbed off on their new song. Recorded live in Amsterdam, The Blackout finds the band sounding more vital and forceful than they have since releasing Vertigo way back in 2004.

    Quote Message

Lyrically, though, it’s not as sure-footed as you’d expect. Bono seems to have re-written Paul Simon’s 50 Ways To Leave Your Lover by way of the apocalypse, with clunky lines like: “Democracy is flat on its back, Jack / We had it all, and what we had is not coming back, Zack”.

His overall message – “we can find light in the darkness” – is more platitude than polemic; but maybe that’s where the Bono of 2017 differs from the angry young man who wrote Sunday, Bloody Sunday or The Joshua Tree’s Bullet The Blue Sky. He’s called the new U2 album Songs of Experience, after all.
