It's as delightfully cheesy as some over ripe brie but then we guess that's why people love the original movie.

  3. 5 Things We've Learned This Weekpublished at 15:12 BST 22 June 2018

Blimey, is it that time of the week again already?

A week in which we saw the first picture of Abba making new music, Eminem hitting back over 'gun shot' criticism and Newbie Tuesday artist Ruby Francis preparing for her big festival debut.

Anyway, after much debate here's our 5TWLTW:

    Dua LipaImage source, Getty Images

    1) Dua Lipa is playing the daddy of all festivals

At the weekend, the New Rules star tweeted her pride over dad, Dukagjin, having followed his "dream" by organising a festival in his home city of Pristina - the capital of Kosovo.

Like his famous daughter, Dukagjin is a singing star back home and Dua confirmed she will perform at the Sunny Hill Festival in August.

"He had an idea to create a festival... with lots of international and home acts to really help put Kosovo on the map culturally.

    "See you there!"

Mates' rates or free for family? That's the question...

    2) Beyonce and Jay-Z released a joint album

It had been rumoured for a while but in typical Bey/Jay trailblazing fashion, Everything is Love, officially arrived smack bang in the middle of a UK gig.

Bey made the announcement on stage in London - where they also paid tribute to the victims of the Grenfell Tower fire.

She said: "Because we love you all so much we have something special for you."

A video was then played on the screens which ended with a black slate with the message 'ALBUM OUT NOW'. An accompanying six-minute video of the pair inside Paris's Louvre museum was released online.

Anyone of you out there planning a wedding, just imagine for a second how much it would cost to rent out the entire Louvre...

    3) Foo Fighters fans were fuming over a ticket error in Manchester

The promoters of Tuesday night’s Foos gig in Manchester had to apologise after 2,000 fans were unable to get into the venue for up to two hours because their tickets didn’t work.

The gig-goers, who had all bought from Ticketmaster, turned up and had their tickets rejected by the automatic turnstiles at the Etihad stadium.

The fans were growing increasingly anxious and irate until the problem was fixed at around 18:30 - by which time they had missed support band The Cribs and the start of Wolf Alice.

Some fans were out there for an ever(so)long time.

SJM concerts blamed “human error” and said they “sincerely apologise”.

    4) Olly Alexander implied double standards over 'sexy' LGBTQ performances

The Years & Years singer hit back at critics who had suggested his band's Biggest Weekend performance in Swansea was "too erotic".

Speaking to Shortlist in a new interview, during Pride month, Olly said: "It’s no different to Demi Lovato or Stefflon Don or Liam Payne.

"They all simulate sex on stage and they say things in their songs that are very erotic, they gyrate and wear revealing outfits."

    He added:

    Quote Message

People don’t bat an eyelid, but as soon as I go on stage it’s a case of ‘Think of the children!’ I am thinking of the children. Young people need to see a queer person being comfortable in their body.

    Last but not least...

    5) Dr Dre is making a Marvin Gaye film

The rapper, who previously produced N.W.A movie Straight Outta Compton, apparently secured the film rights to the Motown singer's music, according to a report in Variety magazine, external.

Previous attempts to tell the tragic story of the singer on screen, by the likes of Cameron Crowe, James Gandolfini and Lenny Kravitz, all failed to get the official thumbs up from Gaye's family.

Jamie Foxx did land the rights for a limited series in 2016 but little has been heard about that one since.

Gaye sang hits about love, lust and politics before being shot dead, aged 44, by his own dad.

We took a look at six stars who could portray him best.

    OK six and a half...

  9. Nick Mason's advice for aging drummerspublished at 12:41 BST 22 June 2018

    BBC Radio 2

    Media caption,

Pink Floyd's Nick Mason has tips for drummers before he heads out on tour.

When the man who sat behind the kit for one of the most influential rock bands of 20th Century gives you a few pointers, it's probably best to listen.

Nick - who was the longtime drummer for Pink Floyd - is heading out on a tour of the UK with his supergroup fronted by Spandau Ballet's Gary Kemp.

Speaking on the Radio 2 Breakfast Show, he joked about having to retrain himself at staying up late.

"I'm working on a textbook, 'Drumming for the over-70s', you lower the cymbals so you don't have to reach so far all the time.

"The trick is never to pay any songs faster than your heart rate."

Jennifer Lopez is urging her fans to rail against the US government's separation of migrant children from their parents who are being detained for illegally entering the country.

Politicians are set to vote on new measures after President Donald Trump agreed to stop the controversial policy.

The singer, whose own parents moved to New York City from Puerto Rico, described the scenes as "atrocities" against "basic human rights" and urged her followers to call on their local government representative for immediate action.

The 48-year-old posted the below picture of a distressed child, alongside a lengthy piece of writing expressing her concern.

"I cannot fathom a world where they would be ripped from my arms, taken to a place no better than a prison far from home.

    Quote Message

I feel we will never forget this moment in time. Bearing witness to these atrocities and that’s what they are, I can say for sure, remaining silent is not an option.

She added: "As a Latino, and as you know very well, a proud Bronx born Puerto Rican American, we and the people of all different races, roots, and culture have enriched this country.

"But the recent rhetoric and constant dismissal of what we bring to the table has to stop. This is about basic human rights and decency."

A tour of Penny Lane and his childhood home in Liverpool are among the highlights of what Late Late Show host James Corden has called possibly the best Carpool Karaoke ever with Paul McCartney.

The former Beatle revealed he wrote his first song, I Lost My Little Girl, when he was 14.

At one point, as the pair duetted on Let it Be, James even got a bit teary.

"It got me emotional there Paul, I didn't see that one coming around the corner," he sniffed.

"It's great. It's weird isn't it. The power of music can do that to you," replied the Beatles legend.

The episode culminates in a secret intimate pub gig which you can watch above.

Florence + the MachineImage source, Getty Images

Big God is taken from Florence's forthcoming fourth album, High as Hope - out next week - and the video seems to be an outtake from a lost episode of Game of Thrones.

It sees Flo and her army of dancers wading around in water against a black backdrop and at one point the singer raises her arms aloft like Jesus Christ and causes them all to levitate.

Despite the rather grandiose imagery, the track is apparently inspired by the ungodly act of 'ghosting' - that's the art of not texting somebody back, to anybody over the age of 60.

The video was choreographed by Flo and Akram Khan and you can watch it above.

Only You features US electronic trio Cheat Codes and you can check it out below, along with lots of apparently random stock video images of birds, bees, trees, fireworks and the sea.

Only you / Only you / No-one else can fix me / Only you, sing the UK girl group.

It features a nice acoustic guitar country riff laid over some big house beats and we have a feeling you'll be hearing this one a lot this summer, whether you like it or not.

  16. BBC Proms to launch with outdoor light showpublished at 09:58 BST 22 June 2018

    Royal Albert Hall

For the first time ever, this year's BBC Proms season is launching with a special free event to be held outside the Royal Albert Hall on 12 July, the day before the official first show of the season

There are 5,000 tickets available as the iconic venue is lit up with projections and visuals to accompany a new score by Scottish composer Anna Meredith, broadcast from inside the building.

Five Telegrams: Sender will be performed by the BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC Proms Youth Ensemble, National Youth Choir of Great Britain and conductor, Sakari Oramo.

Anna said:"I’m so excited that we are bringing Five Telegrams to both the inside and outside of the RAH.

"It’s been such a privilege to work with 59 Productions who are world leaders on these kind of large scale events and we’ve worked hard to produce a piece designed to work on this huge canvas. I’ve loved writing with these big gestures in mind."

As well as being a classical composer, Anna records electronic music and her 2016 album Varmints was named Scottish album of the year

  17. Gorillaz have Thursday's Hottest Record featuring Snoop Doggpublished at 09:25 BST 22 June 2018

Damon Albarn - in deeply philosophical mood - popped into the Radio 1 studios last night to talk DJ Annie Mac through the new Gorillaz track and Hottest Record, Hollywood.

The track features US producer Jamie Principle and the one and only Snoop Dogg.

"I know him quite well and he's one of the sweetest," said Damon.

"Anyone who's in the room with Snoop is happy."

The track will appear on new album, The Now Now, which is out next week.

The album apparently doesn't feature the band's usual bassist - Keith Richards soundalike Murdoc, who is still serving time in prison.

He's been replaced by new member Ace (above right), who apparently "has a better feel."

"Murdoc if you're listening," added Damon, "I still love you man."

    Gone but not forgotten.

    Listen above.
