  5. Weezer invite brain surgery fan to join them on stagepublished at 14:28 GMT 21 November 2018

The Los Angeles indie band invited Kira Iaconetti to join them on stage after she sang their song, Island in the Sun, while undergoing brain surgery.

Nineteen-year-old Kira was suffering a form of epilepsy which triggered seizures when she listened to or performed music - which as a musical theatre enthusiast and guitar player, must have been especially horrible.

Doctors decided that she could be treated for her condition through a procedure called an awake craniotomy, in which she was put under anesthesia but kept awake during the surgery and asked to sing – so doctors could see which part of her brain was used by her when she sang.

Once the fight had been dealt with by the authorities at the Danforth Music Hall, Pusha-T returned to the stage and performed a provocative renditon of Infrared; a track which has a pop at Drizzy.

In case you are new to all this, Pusha-T and Drake have had a long-running feud, which escalated in May when the former released another diss track, The Story of Adidon.

The track carried a cover which showed Drake in 'black face' and the lyrics appeared to reveal to the world that Drake was in fact the father of a child to an adult entertainment star.

There's no official suggestion that the fight was linked to Drake.

Check out the chaotic scenes below but do be warned about the violence.

Here's one for all the culture vultures out there...

Electronic music pioneers Kraftwerk have been named as the first headliners of the Cheshire fest next summer.

The science and culture event at the iconic Jodrell Bank Observatory - Hitchhikers' Guide fans will know the one - takes place on 18-21 July.

The influential German act will close the main Lovell Stage with a 3-D live performance. It's their first UK headline festival performance after a limited run of theatre shows and appearances at the Bilbao Guggenhein, New York's Museum of Modern Art and London's Tate Modern.

Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10am.

Festival director Ben Robinson told 6 Music that the "unique" show fits in nicely with next year's theme marking the 50th anniversary of the moon landings.

    Quote Message

I guess the site at Joddrel Bank, that's built around the pioneering invention of radio astronomy - which is all about waves.

    Ben Robinson, Bluedot Organiser

"There's some kind of synergy there, between how Kraftwerk took computers and how [they] took signals."

On last night's show, Nick spoke of his musical endeavours, revealing how a jamming session with Scottish band Biffy Clyro, landed him a record deal.

“I’ve always played... My brother’s a really good musician and I’ve always played along with him and a couple of years ago somebody heard me.

“Somebody from a record company saw me doing it and I got a phone call saying, ‘I’m from Universal, want to do an album?'"

This prompted Mr Moyles to call on listeners of his Radio X show to get one of Nick's songs in the charts.

  18. This next post about Jack White is strange because...published at 09:44 GMT 21 November 2018

    Jack WhiteImage source, Getty Images

In one of the most unlikely collabs of the day, US rocker Jack White has joined forces with Cards Against Humanity.

For those who are not yet familiar with the card game it's described on its own website as "a party game for horrible people."

So think 'I have never' but more sinister.

White, who released his third solo album, Boarding House Reach, in March has teamed up with the game to commemorate Monday's gig at Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom.

Check out some of the posters from the gig below and count yourselves lucky that the answer is provided... they're not all that easy if you're playing over Christmas.

Yorkshireman Zayn, whose father hails from Pakistan, sings the song in Hindi and Urdu.

Some fans have criticised his pronunciation but others - who can and can't speak the languages - are still loving the tune.

After all, now is the time for foreign language hits.
