  2. Cheap... and we do mean cheap... Jay Z tickets aim to cut out toutspublished at 15:23 GMT 7 November 2017

    BBC Newsbeat

Concert promoters are selling some tickets to see the second richest man in hip hop for as little as $6 (£4.50) in a bid to cut out touts.

It's led to some fans asking whether deals to see the US tour promoting Jay's 4:44 album on primary and resale sites are real.

Concert promoter Live Nation is using the best seats, such as front row and VIP tickets, to make more money so that resellers are priced out, leaving secondary ticket sites and touts with cheaper tickets.

The Weeknd, One Direction, Radiohead, Tool, U2 and Coldplay have all used similar strategies to try to cut out expensive resale tickets.

Head to Newsbeat to find out how.

Fans of The X Factor might remember this lady Saara Aalto.

She finished second only to eventual winner Matt Terry in last year's competition.

Now, she will represent her native Finland in next year's Eurovision song contest.

Here she is below making then-judge Nicole Scherzinger want to twerk in her first ever audition for the ITV show on her first visit to the UK.

    Good luck Saara.

Despite having lived in London for more than 20 years and touring the world Liam Gallagher is still as Manc as they come.

    Probably more so.

So it gets his goat when rock stars move to LA and start adopting an American lilt.

Enter: Alex Turner of Arctic Monkeys fame.

Liam told Radio 1's Greg James: "The singing’s alright for me, you know what I mean?”

“It’s when they do an interview and that later on down the line and they’ve been to America once and they come back."

    Alex TurnerImage source, Get

He added: “They start speaking American. You know what I mean? They’re the ones. Like the geezer from the Arctic Monkeys. He did it, didn’t he? He started getting his hair in a quiff and biker leather jackets on.”

    Quote Message

You know what I mean? It’s like, when he goes back to his mum’s, does he really walk in with that biker leather jacket and go [adopts west coast US accent] ‘hey mom, can I have some tea?’

    Music News LIVE reporter

    Tobi SunmolaImage source, Tobi Sunmola

Welcome to the first of a new weekly feature here at Music News LIVE, entitled Newbie Tuesday (see what we did there, external?)

First up today we're having a look at young Manchester rapper/singer Tobi Sunmola.

The 23-year-old, who spent the first 16 years of his life in his native Nigeria before moving to the north-west of England, mixes hip hop/grime/gospel/electronica and released his captivating self-produced debut EP Childhood Culture earlier this year.

He's been championed by BBC Introducing in Manchester and counts Radio 1's Huw Stephens as a fan.

Inspired by the US hip hop and Afrobeat he grew up listening to, alongside the likes of Sade and gospel music played by his churchgoing mum, his sound blends elements of electronic artists like Tricky and Massive attack with a vocal delivery that has shades of Young Fathers, Ghostpoet and Roots Manuva.

His songs explore issues like identity and culture.

"Moving to Manchester was where I found myself, musically, and being a part of the culture opened my mind to new sounds and new music," he says.

"Every Sunday there was gospel on in the house because my mum is a Christian, my dad used to DJ back in the day and had loads of vinyl, like Tracey Chapman, Sade, a bit of Marvin Gaye and Michael Jackson and I had that around me.

    Quote Message

I used to go home and watch music videos by Kanye and Sade and try and break down all the instruments they used in the songs. So from an early age, I was fascinated by the idea of how songs were made.

I've always been writing, scribbling things down and the music was a way of expressing it. The music was the final piece.

Equally fascinated by movies, Sunmola says he is invested in the visual aspect of his music or "the willingness to out yourself in another character or body and be able to make people believe it".

His aspirations include a visual album, in the same vein as Beyonce's Lemonade or Frank Ocean's Endless.

"For me, I want to be able to put my music in a different space so people can appreciate the visuals and I'm hoping to keep pushing and one day make a film to music."

The gig sees the likes of Travis Scott, Bryson Tiller and Mercury-nominee J Hus share the stage with and fellow Manc act Bugzy Malone.

"It's a massive thing for Manchester, Bugzy is flying the flag and pushing boundaries for us and we just need to keep pushing as musicians and keep trying because Manchester is the home of music and some of the greatest music comes from here, so we are the children of some of the great musicians."

  14. California too cold for Morrissey to performpublished at 10:37 GMT 7 November 2017

    Morrissey

It's a long way from a rented room in Whalley Range but now mid-California's weather is apparently too cold for Mozza to perform in.

The singer's gig in Paso Robles was postponed at the very last minute on Sunday night - with a packed-crowd awaiting the singer's imminent arrival - after a stage heating failure prevented him from performing.

Check out some fan-shot images of now former Moz enthusiasts walking away from the Vina Robles Amphitheatre broken-hearted.

Fair to say many were not impressed.

One fan posted the below picture online alongside the following lament:

"An amphitheater full of upset, sad, and angry people. Morrissey decided to “postpone” the show after the crowd waited for almost an hour. I can’t say I’m surprised because of his history of spontaneously canceling shows, but I am disappointed. All I can do is hope I can get a refund and that Steven Morrissey's health is well."

Let's kick off today with a brand new music video shall we?

It comes courtesy of Sounds Like Friday Night star Liam Payne and his third solo single Bedroom Floor, which follows Strip That Down and Get Low and once again concerns the removal of clothes and lascivious behavior.

The video centres around your typical on/off young couple, who are clearly in love, but going through some relationship issues in a rather messy room.

    Nothing unusual there.

The only difference being that the arguments play themselves out in the biggest and flashiest of inner city apartments with a pool.

And all their friends are incredibly beautiful.

Cheryl's boyfy watches on like the ghost at the feast as the story unfurls.

Just watch where the clothes end up...
