    St VincentImage source, Getty Images

The US singer played new track Los Ageless from her recent album Masseduction on The Graham Norton Show on Friday night.

She then joined the Irish hosts and guest Dame Judi Dench, Johnny Depp, Josh Gad, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Kenneth Branagh for a chinwag.

Graham was intrigued her bespoke guitar, which she designed to better fit her form.

“I like to say [it] is gender inclusive,” she said. “It’s incredibly ergonomic for any gender.”

“Were all guitars not?” asked the host. Fair question.

"I’ve been playing guitar for a long time and I’ve been performing for a long time," she said. "I’m a smallish person and I don’t want a big, heavy guitar.

"I love a ’70s Les Paul, but they’re so heavy - prohibitively heavy - so I designed a guitar with a smaller frame maybe in mind, and a rock monster tone.”

Watch her performance and chat now via the iPlayer.

  8. Paul McCartney: President Trump's resistance to climate change is 'madness'published at 13:02 GMT 6 November 2017

    BBC Newsbeat

    Sir Paul McCartneyImage source, Reuters

Sir Paul McCartney has criticised President Trump's attitude towards climate change, stating that some of his actions are "madness".

The former Beatle - a vegetarian and supporter of animal rights - accused the American leader of turning around "a lot of the advances that have been made" to help the environment.

In June, President Trump announced he was pulling the US out of the Paris Agreement to cut global emissions. He said one of the reasons was to seek a new deal that would not disadvantage US businesses.

Trump also once said the concept of global warming was created by the Chinese in order to make American manufacturing less competitive.

Speaking to Newsbeat, Sir Paul said: "It's maybe a good time now to try and focus people's attention and say 'look, forget about him we can do something'."

Van Zandt invited the Beatle on stage alongside his Disciples of Soul on Saturday in order to finish some "unfinished business", in the form of a rendition of The Beatles classic I Saw Her Standing There.

He's referring to the fact that the last time they performed together at Hard Rock Calling in 2012, in his day job as Bruce Springsteen's guitarist, the plug was pulled mid-song due to the council curfew.

    We thought it might happen.

Everybody is going Latino crazy these days. Noel Gallagher's latest single sounds a bit like Ricky Martin, now a song about the Cuban capital is toppermost of the poppersmost of the charts.

Camila's Havana gave her her first ever number one in this country on Friday evening and clearly put her in a good mood for Saturday's I Heart Fiesta gig in her hometown of Miami (above).

The former Fifth Harmony singer told OfficialCharts.com: “I am so excited to be Number 1 in the UK! I can’t believe it! Thank you to my amazing fans for always supporting me - WE DID IT! I am so grateful.”

Singer Alice Glass's former Crystal Castles bandmate is suing her for defamation after she said publicly that he sexually assaulted her while the pair were in the band together.

Ethan Kath, who still performs under the CC name - with new vocalist Edith Frances - denied the allegations Glass made against him.

In his legal action, obtained by Pitchfork, Kath said he has, “suffered emotional distress” because of the claims.

After she released her statement last month, a number of Crystal Castles performances were apparently cancelled and the band were dropped by their management company and booking agency.

Kath claims a financial loss “in excess of $300,000.”

In a new statement, he said: "When she [Glass] suddenly left Crystal Castles to handle her mental health issues and substance abuse issues I fully supported her.

"I will continue to support her quest to wellness but I can't support extortion, false claims, and accusations."
