...Stay at work/school for a while longer... or get gone!

We've opted for the latter (with the permission of our boss of course) and will be back tomorrow morning with more Music News LIVE.

We'll leave you today with two other potentially-great UK Eurovision hopes.

Scroll down for more on that plus Elton's big decision is pending, The Smiths classical re-union isn't happening and Wireless Festival is currently rather women-less (well, three out of almost 40) as Lily Allen points out.

There's a new Suga-mummy down there too and 50 Cent has enough Bitcoins to head into the Bitbank and make a hefty Bitdrawal.

See you tomorrow for Throwback Thursday and more MNL.

Andrew WK on how his work helps him focus on positive emotions.

The US rocker, who recently paid for a fan's speeding ticket, after he was caught driving too fast to his music, was in with the 6 Music breakfast show team today.

He told presenter Shaun Keaveny about his new album You're Not Alone and how therapeutic an experience it has been to make it.

"I want to turn myself over to being something bigger than those bad feelings," he said.

    Quote Message

I’m coming from a place where I haven’t felt very good about being alive and I wanted to focus on work, on a mission on a quest that was about changing that feeling.

The legal action claimed Gray wasn’t properly monitored during drug addiction treatment.

The settlement has not been disclosed.

Well that's all well and good Jack but if people don't film you at your gig and upload it then no-one will believe them when they say they went to see you.

I mean, what is this? The 1970s? We're not even 100% sure that there was such a thing as music back then, because no-one filmed any of it on their mobiles phones.

Imagine going to a gig and having to just watch it with your own eyes and ears?

    That'll never catch on.

MATANGI / MAYA / M.I.A had its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival this week in Utah.

The documentary, made by the rapper's old Uni buddy Steve Loveridge, focuses on her journey from war-torn Sri Lanka to London, via India.

Watch the pair of former London's Central St Martin's Uni students discussing the film ahead of its first screening (above), before M.I.A had even seen it herself.

She said: "I don't know what's in the film.

"I just gave him loads of like, tour footage, and like, arty kind of things that I'd experimented with. But he didn't use a single bit of that!"

So if none of her work is in it, then what is it all about then Steve?

    Quote Message

What drove me to make this particular thing was I felt there was some kind of moment happening in the world, where it was just the right time to see a story about somebody who was an immigrant and a female and someone of colour who was just relentlessly driven and had focus and just weathered the storm.

He added: "It certainly inspired me and I thought it was essential to get it out now, with the backdrop of the refugees crisis."

Look out for that one in about six months or so then folks.

If you were reading yesterday (and why not?) you'll know The Voidz are the new name for Julian Casablancas' band.

The ever-bashful Strokes singer dropped his own name from the start of the band's name and so now they shall be ever known thus.

    Julian cries:

Trying to wake so early/ I get up in the morning, it just hurts

    We know that feeling.

This summer in the Californian desert it's all about Fanch, One of Pig and Lil Hack.

That's after new tech company Botnik got one of their computers, trained on thousands of band names, to randomly generate a potential alternative lineup.

Some great names in there, for anyone thinking about starting a band.

We can't wait to see Jacked Like a Man, Skin Clump and Smushy Twin.

So did anyone invest in Bitcoins yet? (Other crypto-currencies are available...)

Well despite being named after an old coin, rapper and shrewd investor 50 Cent did apparently - years before the man on the Clapham omnibus even knew it existed.

Seems, it's paid off big time for the hip hop star.

As TMZ reports, external, Fiddy accepted Bitcoins as payment for his work on 2014 album Animal Ambition, while the fledgling currency was then supposedly valued at around $662 (£470) per coin.

The record reportedly pulled in 700 bitcoin in sales, which Fiddy left in his account.

Now, the Bitcoins in his piggy bank are worth between $10k (£7,000) and $12k (£8,500) each, meaning he's sitting on a fortune of around $7m.

That's SEVEN MILLION dollars or five million of our British pounds.

The Bitcoin market tends to go up and down, so Fiddy might want to cash out now while the going is good and then come find us in Da Club.

    Drinks are on you.

I know it's over... but it never really began.

The Classically Smiths gig series has been cancelled only a day after it was announced.

For anyone who missed it, which you may have done by blinking, the plan was for former Smiths drummer Mike Joyce, bassist Andy Rourke and the lesser-known 'fifth Smith' Craig Gannon to perform classical re-workings of the cult Manchester band's songs alongside the Manchester Camerata Orchestra.

However, after being announced, Rourke immediately distanced himself from the arrangement, saying he had never given it the OK.

    It was really nothing.

The unfortunately-named Bad Productions Ltd confirmed the cancellation in a statement.

“In response to recent comments in the press, the planned Classically Smiths events will now, no longer be taking place."

Drummer Joyce said it was "with much regret" that the show would not go ahead and that he entered into the venture "in good faith".
