They are still one of the biggest girl bands in US musical history and now TLC are heading to the UK for their first ever festival slot.

The reunited girls - made up of Tionne 'T-Boz' Watkins and Rozonda 'Chilli' Thomas - performed their first UK show at Koko in London last year.

Now a two-piece, following the death of third member Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes, who died in a car crash in 2002, their fifth and final album was funded thanks to a Kickstarter Campaign.

It came 15 years after their previous album

They are headlining the Mighty Hoopla festival on 3 June at Brockwell Park in London.

Chilli spoke to 6 Music about wanting to protect the legacy of Left-Eye (above).

"No one can be replaced in TLC," she told 6 Music. "Each original member Is an original member - and that's it."

Double MOBO-award winning artist Guvna B has struggled to find mainstream airplay for his music because he’s often labelled as a Christian rapper.

He's been speaking to Good Morning Sunday on Radio 2 about how his faith shapes his music and whether the success of artists like Stormzy and Kendrick Lamar - who are open about their beliefs - is helping things change.

"I'm making music that inspires people to live out their God-given purpose," he says.

Actor Bill Murray will premiere his debut album in the UK in June.

New Worlds is described as "an intricate encounter of music and literature, exploring themes of American history and identity".

It sees the Groundhog Day star join forces with friend and cellist, Jan Vogler, for two shows of live performance and discussion, set to take place in London and Edinburgh on 4 and 18 June respectively.

The 30 Seconds to Mars singer is in the UK with his band, so was not part of the March for the Our Lives events happening across the States but say his heart is with the protesters.

Sir Paul McCartney, Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson (scroll down for more) were among the artists attending rallies

Jared and his band release America, their fifth studio album next week.

Speaking to Music News Live, he said the political awareness of young people was "incredible".

"What's happening now with young people in America being socially and politically active and making their voices heard, it's a phenomenon, it's a new generation of people learning to stand up and fight for what they believe in and I back it 1000 percent.

30 Seconds are playing the O2 in London on Tuesday night.

Liam Gallager appeared to give Brandon Flowers a bit of a funny turn when he made a surprise appearance at The Killers concert in Brazil on Sunday.

Gallagher, in trademark shades and orange jacket combo, sidled on to the stage during the band's rendition of All These Things That I’ve Done, to Flowers' genuine astonishment.

Unfortunately, Brandon showed his delight in ways we can't repeat here, but you can find it on YouTube.

As the song drew to a close, The Killers then proceeded to deliver an impromptu cover of Gas Panic, taken from the Oasis album Standing On The Shoulders of Giants.

Flowers, who covered Wonderwall at Lollapalooza in Chile earlier this month after Liam fell poorly during his set, has previously called Gallagher "one of my kings".

Demi Lovato, Jennifer Hudson, Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande and Common were just some of the stars who joined the March For Our Lives demonstration in Washington DC this weekend.

Many of them performed at the rally, paying tribute to the 17 students who lost their lives in the school shooting in Parkland, Florida last month, as well as the many others impacted by gun violence in the US.

Broadway stars Ben Platt and Lin-Manuel Miranda performed a mash-up of two songs from two of New York's biggest musicals.

Hollywood heavyweight George Clooney joined the DC march, alongside Kanye West, who was joined by his wife Kim Kardashian and daughter North.

"A day I hope she remembers forever," wrote Kim.

The aforementioned Sir Paul (scroll down) attended the march in New York, while comedian and actress Amy Schumer joined the rally in Los Angeles.

Jennifer Hudson, who closed out the Washington march with a gospel rendition of Bob Dylan's The Times They Are A-Changin, posted a young girl reciting a poem her on her Instagram with the words: "Let the children say ..... speak Sade #marchforourlives, external

On the opposite side of the gun debate though, Eagles of Death Metal singer Jesse Hughes - who survived a mass shooting at his gig at the Bataclan in Paris in 2015, called the protest "pathetic and disgusting".

In an Instagram post, the singer wrote: "As the survivor of a mass shooting I can tell you from first-hand experience that all of you protesting and taking days off from school insult the memory of those who were killed and abuse and insult me and every other lover of liberty by your every action."

Lana Del Rey says her copyright dispute with Radiohead is over.

Earlier this year, Del Rey said the British band were suing her over similarities between her song, Get Free, and their breakthrough hit Creep.

Radiohead had rejected her offer of 40% of the song's royalties, she claimed, and were demanding 100% percent.

The band's publishers subsequently denied taking legal action, but confirmed they had asked for a writing credit to be added to the song.

Del Rey appeared to confirm the dispute had been settled during her set at the Lollapalooza festival in Sao Paolo, Brazil over the weekend.

After performing Get Free in her encore, Del Rey lit a cigarette and told fans: "Now that my lawsuit's over, I guess I can sing that song any time I want, right?"

More than 350 previously unseen photos of The Beatles at two early US shows have fetched £253,200 at auction.

Mike Mitchell captured the Fab Four arriving at the venues, at pre-show press conferences and on stage in Washington DC and Baltimore in 1964.

Mitchell photographed the band at their first ever US concert, at Washington Coliseum on 11 February 1964 - two days after their famous appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show.

Mitchell was just 18 at the time and took the photos in natural light because he couldn't afford a flash.

"I was very motivated to come up with stuff that was as unique as could possibly be," he said.

The winners of this year's Juno awards - Canada's answer to the Grammys - were announced on Sunday night at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver.

Teen star Shawn Mendes picked up two awards for Single of the Year (for There's Nothin' Holding Me Back) and the Fan Choice award, Arcade Fire won Album of the Year and the late Gord Downie, of The Tragically Hip, won three posthumous awards for Artist of the Year, Songwriter of the Year and Adult Alternative Album of the Year (for Introduce Yerself).

Gord Downie died in October 2017 having been diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour in 2016.

"Gord Downie taught us all what it means to be alive and how to exit this world with love and compassion," said musician Kevin Drew, who introduced a pre-recorded tribute to the much-loved musician.

The ceremony, hosted by Michael Buble, was also notable for the reunion of Steven Page and cult Canadian band the Barenaked Ladies, who are celebrating their induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.

Page and the band have not played together in nearly a decade. They remain best known for their international hits One Week and If I Had $1,000,000, as well as the theme tune to The Big Bang Theory.

Magda Davitt - the artist formerly known as Sinead O'Connor - will play live in the US next month, according to reports, external.

The Nothing Compares 2U singer will be performing at the Music Hall in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on 24 April 24, and the Academy of Music in Northampton, Massachusetts the following night.

The troubled musician has struggled with mental health issues in the past, which she claims stem from her traumatic childhood.

She announced she was changing her name last September on US TV so that she could be "free of parental curses".

“Sinead O’Connor is gone,” she told celebrity psychologist Dr. Phil McGraw. “That person is gone.”

In January, she performed at a concert in Dublin alongside Bono and Nick Cave, to mark Pogues’ frontman Shane McGowan’s 60th birthday.

We'll just let that sink in for a second.

The reunited '80s hitmakers and the Northern Irish soul man have been added to the line-up for Michael Buble's headline performance at British Summer Time Hyde Park this summer.

The Feeling and country duo The Shires will also play ahead of Michael on 13 July.

It's his first UK show since 2016, when he announced his son Noah was being treated for cancer.

The New Zealand musical comedy duo halted their UK and Ireland tour earlier this month, when Bret McKenzie broke two bones in his hand falling down some stairs.

The Greatest Showman soundtrack is number one in the UK for the 11th week in a row - more than any other album in modern chart history except Adele's 21.

It has sold 465,000 copies - more than 40% of which have been on CD and vinyl, the Official Charts Company said.

The film, which stars Hugh Jackman as circus entrepreneur PT Barnum, has defied lukewarm reviews from the critics to become a major box office success.

It now has the the joint-longest consecutive run at the top spot in the past 30 years, along with Adele's 21 in 2011.

The first person to win the Eurovision Song Contest, Lys Assia, has died at the age of 94, competition organisers have announced.

She took the prize for Switzerland in 1956, with the song Refrain, and went on to perform in two more contests.

Eurovision described her as the "first lady" of the competition, external.

Assia's association with Eurovision was long-lasting, including a performance in 2005 when she performed in celebration of its 50th anniversary.

At the age of 87 she decided to return to the contest and tried - unsuccessfully - to represent Switzerland in 2012 and 2013.

The former Beatle was one of hundreds of thousands of people who went on marches in cities across the US, calling for an end to gun violence.

Sir Paul Paul McCartney joined around 175,000 protesters at a rally in New York, the same city where, 38 years ago, his bandmate John Lennon was murdered by Mark David Chapman.

Speaking to CNN, he said he hopes the march will achieve genuine change (above).

Meanwhile, Killer Mike from rap duo Run the Jewels has said sorry after he was interviewed by the National Rifle Assocation about black gun ownership during which he appeared to condemn the marchers.

The NRA released the video over the weekend in which he accused those wanting to change gun laws of being "the lackey" (obeying someone else's orders).

His comments sparked a backlash on social media, with people criticising his decision to speak to the NRA.

Taking to Twitter, Mike - whose real name is Michael Render, said: “I’m sorry guys. I’m sorry that an interview I did about a minority — black people in this country — and gun rights was used as a weapon against you guys.

"That was unfair to you and it was wrong.”

Welcome to Aylesbowie.

Over the weekend, the Buckinghamshire town of Aylesbury became the latest stop on the David Bowie fan tour.

The town, where the singer debuted his persona Ziggy Stardust, unveiled the UK's first ever statue of David Bowie.

Bowie first performed as Stardust and debuted two albums at gigs at the town's Friars music venue in the early 1970s.

The bronze sculpture, entitled Earthly Messenger, can be found in Aylesbury's Market Square.

Speakers mounted above the life-size piece will play a Bowie song every hour.

David Bowie died in January 2016, aged 69.
