If you have a query for the Seven Wonders team, please check this section before sending an email. It may have an answer for you. Why are there no wonders from Scotland Wales and Northern Ireland ?Seven Wonders was originally an 'opt out' programme commissioned and shown in the ten English Regions. This network series is a chance for people from across the UK to enjoy a celebration of places they may have visited on holiday or where they may have friends and relations living. All the BBC Nations have an outstanding track record of making similar programmes for their local viewers, the best of which - like BBC Wales's This Land - also get network screenings. How were the Wonders selected ?
In some regions like the South West television viewers , local radio listeners and web users were asked to nominate and vote for their favourite wonders - so a list of wonders could be produced. In others rather than a full-scale vote we asked for nominations and a selection was made by a panel of local people. In every region though the wonders were suggested and selected by people who live and work in that region. How do I purchase videos? Were sorry but we cannot provide tapes of Seven Wonders.
