Career History/Big Break...
Dragged up in Plymouth, I went to a regular secondary comprehensive school where I was more interested in Sport than studying. I played for the school football, basketball, rugby teams and also went on to represent Devon at youth level at Cricket.

I obviously like Sport (Funny That!) but also enjoy the importance of a rich and varied social life, or going to the pub as it's otherwise known. I'm a bit of a sun worshiper and try to get away whenever I can. It'll be three holidays a year now I'm with the BBC though!

I've worked in all kinds of places; I've been a labourer in the dockyard, I once worked for the now defunct ITV Digital and I've been a Basketball official to name just a few. More recently though I worked for BBC Radio Devon covering Plymouth, Exeter and Torquay games and once I even did the tannoy for Exeter rugby club.. although I wasn't asked back after getting the score wrong.......twice!

I trained as a journalist in Falmouth, and then worked for Kick FM in Newbury and Kestrel FM in Basingstoke before landing my dream job here at BBC Radio Stoke. I've moved to the area with the Mrs in tow and we're on the look out for some friends as we have none.

Likes: Beer, Pasties, and Warm Weather. (I've heard there's lots of that round here!)
