bbc new music shorts
Five aspiring filmmakers have had their ideas selected and been awarded £5000 each to make a music-based short film. The films will be premiered at the BBC Electric Proms festival in October and online on BBC Film Network, before commencing a UK festival tour.
The winners of BBC New Music Shorts 2007 were chosen from 456 entries and will make their film under the guidance of experienced producers from Warp Films. Each film is inspired by music from four leading independent record labels - Domino Records, 679 Recordings, Warp Records and Ninja Tune.
