Wednesday 24 October
Radio Luxembourg are one of the five BBC Introducing artists chosen to perform at this year's Electric Proms.
Welsh: Ar gyfer y set, bu Radio Luxembourg yn gweithio gyda'r peiriannydd sain 'Dan Hermouet' i greu swn newydd gyda offerynnau gwahanol, ac roedd sioe oleuadau arbennig hefyd yn rhan o'r perfformiad. Ar nos Fercher, Tachwedd 7fed, am 10pm mi fydd cyfle i glywed rhaglen arbennig ar C2, Radio Cymru yn dilyn Radio Luxembourg yn perfformio ac yn paratoi ar gyfer y Proms Trydanol.

what happened
Minute by minute report, via text message, by the BBC's Kate Lawrence
- 19.49 - Mary Anne Hobbs comes on stage. "Tonight is about two words: JOHN PEEL!" She then welcomes first act Radio Luxembourg on stage. We're off!
- 19.53 - It's not that busy at the Ballroom yet but they've got the crowd's attention by starting off with two jaunty numbers, 'Mostyn & Diego' and 'Where is Denn. Did I mention they were Welsh?
- 19.57 - I'm very taken with Dylan the keyboard player's psychedelic, colourful piano - it suits the music perfectly!
- 20.00 - I've moved to the front and I can confirm that guitarist Alan is wearing a tie dye poncho-esque shirt. Very groovy!
- 20.05 - A challenge is set. Anyone who can decipher all the words in the next track will get £10,000...of the BBC's money! I hope he's joking even if it is in Welsh.

Havin just gone to see siouxsie perform and not being particularly bothered who else was there, I have to say what a great upcoming band, bit raw, but hey they are new, enjoyed every one of their songs especially the welsh one as it was quite moving, well done boys.
