Mairead and Tabitha, BBC 6 Music's Queens of Noize presented their show 'Sonic Safari' live from the Roundhouse featuring live acoustic performances from Noah and the Whale with vocalist Laura Marling and Tom Hull aka Kid Harpoon accompanied by Will from The Mystery Jets.

  1. 16.00 - And the Queens are live on air direct from the rather bijou FreeDM studios...
  2. 16.16 - Some stirring tunes from Battles and the Ramones are getting the crowd in an excitable mood.
  3. 16.42 - Kid Harpoon takes to the stage earlier than planned cos he's pleading a hangover. He does look fragile, bless him.
  4. 16.43 - He's joined by Will from the Mystery Jets, a double bassist and a very glam violinist.
  5. 16.45 - The boys launch into Kid's 'Colours', which kicks off with deliverance-style duelling guitars.
