Critically acclaimed UK hip-hop artist Estelle is signed to US soul singer John Legend's ‘Homeschool’ label, an imprint on Atlantic Records. She is one of the most talked about new hip-hop acts to emerge in recent years and headlined 1Xtra's 100% Homegrown night at the BBC Electric Proms.

- 21.04 - Estelle's band take the stage. Everyone's wearing a tie! Dapper is definitely the theme of the evening.
- 21.05 - The Jazz Café is completely rammed now. It's hard to move.
- 21.17 - Twin B comes to the stage to introduce the headliner - Estelle.
- 21.19 - She looks amazing, wearing a shimmering white sequinned mini dress and purple heels.
- 21.22 - No messing about. She piles straight in with 'So Much To Say'. Next up it's a new one called 'Magnificent' with a dancehall flavour.

Was over there in London from Basel for a weekend and very lucky to be at the Jazz with a friend of mine that night: great show, marvelous and innovative cross over hip hop, will remember that night for long.
