Awesome! Redifines my concept of 'hero'. Edwyn was always a star, now he's a galaxy. An inspiration to the world.

A wonderful, joyous night. Edwyn has inspired me for so much of my life, but never as much as this. Thank you to all involved.

The whole gig was amazing from young Sam Issac to the end of Edwyns set.Too see Edwyn in such rude health after all he has been through was wonderful. The band were in fine form, but unfortunately no one introduced them so I am not sure who was who. Does anybody know. I do know that Bernard Butler introduced the band and Roddy Frame plated guitar. I think it was Dave Ruffy on drum, but I have no idea of the rest. The set list was a great mix of songs from 1980 'til 2007. Highlights for me were Falling and Laughing and Blueboy. Orange Juices first two singles. Not because I think they are Edwyns finest work, but because Orange Juice were my favourite band when I was in my teens. Still are one of my favourite bands. It was the first time I had heard the tracks on Home Again live. I missed the gig at the ICA in 2004. He did not tour that Autumn (he was recording Home Again) and he fell ill in the Spring of 2005. Does anybody have a set list for the ICA gig?My other highlights were What Presence and Hope and Despair, but Rip it Up and A Girl Like You were a lot of fun.I sung along to every song ad did most of the crowd. We laughed when Edwyn laughed and grinned and smiled all the way through. Edwyn appeared to be having a fantastic time. For him this must be just what the Doctor ordered. No better rehabilitation I would think.Roll on the UK tour for the triumphant return of Edwyn Collins.

Wonderful singing from Edywn. Fantastic playing from Roddy and the band. Great choice of songs. Bucket loads of love from the audience. You have a DUTY to post the film of this show!

What a great gig - I hope you post it all so we can watch it again. The new songs are just sooo good but it was Hope and Despair which brought tears to my eyes.
