We want to make songs that would make even the coolest shoe-gazing indie kid sing and dance like a fairground monkey.
Enid Blitz
BBC Electric Proms: Next Stage
Enid Blitz played as part of the Next Stage gig on Sunday 29 October. See photos of everyone who played.
Brighton based Enid Blitz are a four piece who were conceived on a rum fuelled stargazing beach mission in the Summer of 2005. They play catchy, stripped back guitarpop about rubbish 1960s architecture, Doctor's surgeries and pretty much anything else that doesn't fall into the 'I love her/I love beer/I love hair metal and I refuse to tidy my room' category.
They've been playing in and around Brighton since forming, catching the eye of NME, who have asked the band to play several NME
club nights in October.
Enid Blitz were selected for Next Stage by BBC Radio 1
.
