I just can't describe the feeling walking on to that stage, it was rammed to the hilt! Arms raised, everybody singing and a heavy moshpit...
The Fratellis
Sunday 29 October 2006
Main Space, Roundhouse
Indie rock three piece The Fratellis shrug off nerves about playing their biggest ever gig as support to The Who and put in a polished set.
They have a certain swagger, reminiscent of Oasis, which is bound to propel them to stardom sooner rather than later. Their covers of The Who's 'Seeker' and Goldfrapp's 'Ooh La La' got the crowd jumping up and down.
Set List:
Seeker
Everybody Knows You Cried Last Night
Flathead
Vince The Loveable Stoner
Doginabag
Baby Fratelli
Whistle For The Choir
Ooh La La

I have heard a couple of tracks on the radion but this lot blew me away, never have I heard a fender telecaster played with such guts, it was a very brave thing to open for the who with a who number but they really gave the seeker justice, I will sure be seeing this lot again.

The performance was great as ever, however, the audience were obviously not fans and the atmosphere suffered. Looking forward to seeing them again supporting Kasabian in Decemeber.
