Although best known for his comedy work, Alistair has several drama credits to his name, including Mayo and Bleak House.
In 2006, Alistair starred as wise-cracking detective Gil Mayo. The previous year, he played Mr Kenge in several episodes of Bleak House.
Back in the mid-1990s, he played the character Spock in two series of BBC drama Preston Front. In 2000, he appeared in Cor Blimey! - a drama about the Carry On film stars.
Alistair's made several series of The Big Impression for BBC One, and has showcased his gift for mimicry on a variety of TV and radio shows.
He and Ronni Ancona made Christmas specials devoted to their impersonations of Posh & Becks, then Sven & Nancy.
